Shirley Paris is a jewellery designer and manufacturer based in central Scotland and is firmly established as one of Scotland's leading designers of contemporary jewellery.
Since starting her company in 1987, Shirley has developed an award-winning range of fine jewellery incorporating gold, platinum and diamonds, using her skills as a talented and experienced goldsmith.

All jewellery starts as an idea, and Shirley refines each idea into a practical design, choosing gemstones, selecting precious metals and exploring different aspects of the design, blending traditional hand-crafting skills with the latest computer aided design technology.

Shirley has Gemstone and Diamond Diplomas from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, which ensures her clients receive the best quality diamonds and professional advice.

Many exciting new designs have been created exclusively for this website, while others have evolved into design classics over many years of making jewellery for discerning clients.

What inspires Shirley?

'I am frequently asked where I draw my inspiration from when creating jewellery for my clients.

I have been designing and manufacturing handmade jewellery for over 25 years and during that time I have developed an instinct for the style of jewellery people enjoy wearing.

This is, of course, an ever changing brief and it is important to listen to what clients have to say about the features they want to include in their design. This process of listening gives the designer a very real appreciation of what jewellery wearers really like.
What else?

My away from work activities include family life, cooking, reading and some outdoor pursuits.

As a family we spend as much time as possible outdoors and in particular sailing on our beautiful West coast of Scotland.

The scenery and ever changing face of the sea always inspires and Monday morning in the design studio after a weekend of fresh salty air never fails to encourage creativity.
