This really is glamorous couture jewellery at its best! The beautiful bright yellow sapphire is set into a platinum rubover setting in a deep sweeping curve with the placing of a brilliant cut diamond on one side. Yellow sapphire is naturally occurring and of the same family as the blue variety.The colours contrast well in this piece with platinum/diamond placed next to yellow gold/sapphire for maximum effect (watch the video!). This ring could be a classic 'right hand ring' or a special engagement ring. ONLY ONE of this design has been made and it will NEVER be repeated.
Dimensions: width at back 3mm, width across front 14mm, height- sapphire 5mm, 18ct gold 2.5mm.
Gemstone characteristics: oval yellow sapphire 0.98ct, 1 brilliant cut diamond weight 0.12ct.
